What is the Purpose of the Travelling Salesman Project
The Travelling Salesman connects the Finnish startup community to entrepreneurs around Europe. Since the foundation in 2010, expeditions have been made in the Nordics, the Baltics and to Central Europe. The aim is to build bridges between startups and the startup communities that are rapidly forming around Europe.
While more and more communication takes place on the Internet, face to face interactions is still the best way to build a sense of a shared community.
By building relationships between driven entrepreneurs inside and outside of Finland everyone is stronger and more connected. Through travels, the Travelling Salesman organisation wants to: • Increase the links & communication between startups • Find out and report on what is going on in the startup communities around us • Be visible at events • Spread the word of what is happening in the Finnish startup scene, as well as the scenes we connect with • And have fun.
